Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has followed up on the development of the sewage system and the establishment of land facilities in the new industrial zones, as well as the upgrading of existing areas in the 10th of Ramadan City, Invest-Gate reports.
This includes an industrial sewage pumping station, sewage lines, water networks, and the construction of roads and sidewalks.
El Sherbini emphasized the need for continuous monitoring to ensure that projects are implemented according to the highest technical standards and required quality.
He highlighted the importance of developing industrial zones in line with the state’s directives to facilitate investment, particularly within the framework of the new incentives provided by the government.
In this context, Eng. Alaa Abdellah Mostafa, Head of the 10th of Ramadan City Development Authority, along with the Authority’s officials, conducted an inspection tour to monitor the implementation of the industrial wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 130,000 m³/day.
They also reviewed the construction progress of the new refinery building and the implementation of two drainage lines with a diameter of 1400 mm.
Additionally, they assessed the establishment of two anaerobic basins, the reinforcement of the bridges of Oxidation Pond No. 3, and the development, rehabilitation, and deepening of the third anaerobic pond.
They also oversaw the implementation of concrete manholes and the installation of GRP pipes in the open channel to transport treated water from ponds No. 1 and 2.
Mostafa further inspected the industrial area facilities projects, which include utility works in the heavy industrial areas east of the dry port and east of Zone A4. He also followed up on the efficiency improvement works for utilities (water, drainage, and roads) in Industrial Zone A’3.
