Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting to review the latest developments and preparations for launching the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative for Egyptians abroad, with ministry officials present, Invest-Gate reports.
The initiative will be launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs.
During the meeting, El Sherbini emphasized the strong commitment from political leadership to meet the needs of Egyptians abroad, issuing directives to the Ministry of Housing to provide various incentives and benefits within the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative.
He noted that the initiative aims to implement 5,000 residential units and villas in New Alamein City, the New Administrative Capital, New Mansoura City, Madinaty, and several other cities.
Additionally, the Minister explained that a website will be launched next January to facilitate the offering and reservation of units in the initiative. He stressed that efforts will be made to address the diverse needs and requests of Egyptians abroad by providing housing units that cater to different income brackets. He reviewed the proposals for incentives and benefits designed to maximize advantages for Egyptians living abroad.
Furthermore, El Sherbini directed the preparation of a final vision for all executive steps of the “Your Home in Egypt” initiative, including a review of its procedures. The vision should encompass the advantages and incentives that will be provided, as well as the identification of suitable locations for the units in the projects offered within the initiative.
