Housing Minister Reviews Progress on Units, Villas, Facilities, and Roads at Mazarine Compound, New Alamein City

Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, has conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction activities encompassing residential units, villas, infrastructure projects, roads, site coordination, agricultural initiatives, and other developments within Mazarine Compound located in New Alamein City, Invest-Gate reports.

He was accompanied by Amin Ghoneim, Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for the Development and Urban Development Sector; Ahmed Ibrahim, Head of the New Alamein City Authority; as well as officials from the NUCA and the Minister’s Technical Office.

During the inspection, El Sherbini and his companions toured the Boulevard Road, a key thoroughfare passing through Mazarine Compound, to assess the progress and quality of construction across residential, commercial, and administrative structures lining both sides of the road.

They reviewed the status of facade completion and other project elements, prompting El Sherbini to issue directives for expediting the finishing touches on facades facing the road and to introduce seating areas shaded by trees along both sides of the boulevard.

El Sherbini instructed for an acceleration in the pace of construction for units, villas, infrastructure projects, roads, and site coordination within Mazarine Compound.

He emphasized the need to reassign work from underperforming companies to more capable firms to boost completion rates and expedite project timelines, stressing strict adherence to specified deadlines and a zero-tolerance policy towards delays or deficiencies.

Furthermore, El Sherbini mandated NUCA and the New Alamein City Authority officials to establish weekly targets for completion within Mazarine Compound, emphasizing the necessity for visible progress on-site each week. Any stagnation in progress was deemed unacceptable, underscoring the need for continuous advancement in construction activities.
