Eng. Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, held a meeting with representatives of the Cairo International Financial Centre (CIFC) to review proposals for managing the Business and Finance District in the New Capital. The meeting was attended by Dr. Walid Abbas, Deputy Minister of Housing for New Urban Communities, along with ministry officials, Invest-Gate reports.
Construction Completed at the Central Business District
At the beginning of the meeting, Eng. Randa El-Menshawy noted that all construction works in the Central Business District in the New Capital had been completed.
She emphasized the importance of leveraging international expertise in managing financial and business districts, noting that the Ministry is keen to assess various proposals for managing the district to ensure maximum operational efficiency, optimize the New Capital’s assets and capabilities, and strengthen its ability to attract global investments and international companies.
CIFC Highlights Partnership Opportunities
During the meeting, representatives of the Cairo International Financial Centre (CIFC) expressed their interest in partnering with the Egyptian government to manage and promote the Business and Finance District in the New Capital.
Discussions addressed the consortium’s vision for the significance of the district and its potential as a promising investment opportunity for companies specializing in finance and business.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Eng. Randa El-Menshawy directed the Ministry to continue coordination with the Cairo International Financial Centre to further discuss all details related to the proposals presented.
