Assem El Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and Ashraf Fathy, Head of the Sadat City Development Authority, reviewed the latest updates on the Housing for All Egyptians presidential initiative projects, Invest-Gate reports.
Fathy explained that the construction of several housing units in the initiative in the Al-Firdous district is underway, with a completion rate of 80%. Additionally, the installation of lighting poles, electricity supply, and site leveling are ongoing.
Also, Fathy mentioned that the construction of buildings in the Al-Nour district had reached a completion rate of 73%, with work underway on on-site design, external finishes, facades, and infrastructure facilities for social housing land plots in the Al-Nakhil district, including the main power supply and transformer rooms.
Furthermore, Fathy reported that the first phase of road works in the industrial developers’ area, with a length of 7 km, is currently underway to facilitate business on investors, as well as the development of the eighth industrial zone and the renewal of the lift pump bases for the heavy industries’ sewage station.
Moreover, Fathy announced the construction of a road linking the first residential area of Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed Street to the central axis in front of the Sadat City University headquarters to create a new artery that would help alleviate traffic congestion.
Notably, during his inspection tours, Fathy noticed heavy trucks passing through and parking in residential areas. He immediately instructed the relevant authorities to take action and strictly enforce regulations to prevent heavy trucks from entering residential blocks.
