Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, convened with Hamza Ali, Minister of Public Works and Housing of Syria, and Bashar Al Assad, Representative of the Syrian Embassy in Cairo, alongside their accompanying delegation, to showcase Egypt’s urban proficiency and deliberate on avenues to fortify cooperative efforts between the two nations during the third day of the 12th World Urban Forum, Invest-Gate reports.
El Sherbini warmly received Hamza Ali, Minister of Public Works and Housing of Syria, and Bashar Al Assad, Representative of the Syrian Embassy in Cairo, and their delegation.
He emphasized the Ministry’s readiness to extend full support and exchange expertise with their Syrian counterparts, highlighting the capacity of Egyptian contracting firms to undertake diverse projects for the Syrian community.
In turn, the Syrian minister lauded Egypt’s urban accomplishments across various sectors, articulating his country’s eagerness to deepen collaboration with Egypt and leverage the Egyptian experience and the competencies of Egyptian contracting companies to drive mutual progress.
