Housing Minister Tours NAC’s Latest Developments

Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Assem El Gazzar has toured the Capital Central Park and Central Business District (CBD) projects in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) to stay abreast of new developments on site, Invest-Gate reports.

During the tour, El Gazzar confirmed that the above projects mark “the first of its kind in Egypt” for being a distinctive landmark in the new capital, which President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi periodically follows up on, as highlighted in a recent ministerial statement.

Further, the minister stressed the need to speed up implementation at the best level of quality, noting that the 1,000-acre central park extends over more than 10 kilometers in length, with a chance to stand as one of the largest parks worldwide, he says.

Meanwhile, the CBD includes 20 mixed-use high-rise buildings, including the 400-meter tallest tower in Africa, he pointed out, highlighting that investments pumped into this project are estimated at USD 3 bn (EGP 46.9 bn).

El Gazzar also toured NAC’s utility projects and residential areas, accompanied by several ministerial officials and company representatives, the statement concluded.
