Housing Ministry and Arab Organization for Industrialization Sign Cooperation Protocol aimed at supporting the “Decent Life” presidential initiative

Eng. Sherif El Sherbini, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, visited the Helwan Advanced Industries Factory, Invest-Gate reports.

This is a part of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), accompanied by several officials, including Dr. Sayed Ismail, the Deputy Minister of Housing, and Maged El Raml, Head of the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater. The visit culminated in the signing of a cooperation protocol aimed at supporting the “Decent Life” presidential initiative.

The protocol focuses on enhancing the manufacturing capabilities of AOI to meet the needs of the housing sector. “We must leverage all resources to complete projects in the villages covered by ‘Decent Life’ on time,” Minister El Sherbini emphasized. He called for efficient coordination between the ministry and AOI to ensure timely progress and quality implementation.

Minister El Sherbini also highlighted the importance of water and sanitation services, noting that the ministry is committed to improving water quality and expanding sanitation coverage in urban and rural areas.

AOI’s Chairman, Major General (General Staff) Mokhtar Abdel-Latif, stressed the organization’s efforts to localize the production of pumps and other essential components for water and sanitation projects. The partnership aims to boost local manufacturing and support national development goals.

During the visit, the officials toured AOI’s product showcase and the manufacturing facilities, highlighting the organization’s commitment to producing high-quality local products.
