The Egyptian Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities has announced the first phase of its “Your Home in Egypt” initiative, offering 5,055 premium residential units across 13 projects in nine cities, Invest-Gate reports. This move aligns with the government’s vision to expand investment opportunities for Egyptians residing abroad.

Minister Sherif El Sherbiny emphasized that the initiative reflects the leadership’s commitment to providing diverse and competitive real estate options for Egyptians abroad. It features flexible payment plans, simplified contractual processes, and a variety of unit types to suit different income levels and preferences.

The first phase includes units ready for immediate handover and others scheduled for delivery by late 2025. Featured projects include Arabesque in Cairo, residential neighborhoods in the New Administrative Capital, Madinaty in New Cairo, and Bliss Gates in Sheikh Zayed, among others. Unit sizes range from 79 to 678 sqm, catering to a wide spectrum of client needs.

The ministry has partnered with Banque Misr to facilitate secure electronic payments in US dollars, ensuring smooth financial transactions for buyers. To enhance accessibility, the initiative will leverage advanced technology, including a state-of-the-art website offering virtual tours and real-time updates on available units.

A global marketing campaign is set to promote these projects, showcasing competitive opportunities while employing artificial intelligence to streamline selection, allocation, and contracting processes. Unit reservations will commence on February 15, 2025, through the dedicated online platform.
