Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly confirmed that the ministry will be offering 600 residential units to victims of the torrents that occurred earlier in Ras Ghareb.

The new houses are ready for immediate delivery, including three-bedroom apartments measuring 90 square meters, added Madbouly. The minister moreover confirmed that officials have been working collaboratively to compensate the victims for their losses.

A number citizens in Ras Ghareb have lost their homes as a result of flooding from rainfalls that hit the area earlier last week, while other homes were partially damaged.
