The Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities plans to offer land plots soon under the public-private partnership system, according to Khaled Abbas, Assistant to the Minister of Housing for Technical Affairs, reported Al Mal News.

The prices of the lands maybe reconsidered only if the price of the currency changes within the next period, Abbas added.

He also pointed out that there is a high demand on real estate as 950,000 new marriages take place annually, confirming that the real estate sector’s performance is steady.

The ministry is also seeking to develop areas in North Coast to include an additional 20,000 units to be used through the entire year, instead of the summer season only, according to Youm7.
