Gamal Talaat, assistant vice president of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) for the Development Sector, tours the ongoing projects in the New Minya City, accompanied by Khaled Abdel Aziz, head of the New Minya City Authority, and a group of officials, Invest-Gate reports.
The tour begins with an inspection of the water purification plant with a total capacity of 95,000 cbm/day. The second phase is being implemented with a capacity of 50 thousand cbm/ day, the ministerial statement reveals.
Officials also inspect the sewage treatment plant with a total capacity of 140,000 m3/day, where the implementation of the first phase has been completed with a capacity of 20,000 cbm/day.
Moreover, the official tour includes units of the presidential initiative “Housing for all Egyptians” for low-income, with 10,848 units, including the 90-meter model, as well as the 75-m model. Besides, Sakan Misr project comprising 816 units; in addition to “JANNA” project, which includes 528 housing units.
The ministerial statement discloses that the officials follow up on a number of roads, utilities, and agricultural projects in the city.
It is worth noting that the New Minya City is one of the cities of the second generation extending over 31,106 acres. The entire city is located on a flat plateau that rises about 137 m above sea level.
