Gamal Talaat, assistant vice president of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), has inspected the ongoing projects in New Nasser and New Assiut Cities, accompanied by Yasser Abdallah Ramadan, head of the Nasser City Development Authority, Gehan Ammar, head of the New Assiut City Development Authority, as well as a group of the ministry’s officials, Invest-Gate reports.
For the New Nasser City, the housing officials have begun with the “Sakan Misr” project, with a total of 2,640 housing units, in which the agricultural and site works are ongoing. Besides, they have toured the “Housing for All Egyptians” project, which includes 1,584 housing units, as well as the adjacent services to the project including a medical unit, nursery, commercial market, police station, and firefighting unit. Adding to this, inspecting a 33-classroom elementary education school.
Furthermore, the official tour includes inspecting the city’s roads and facilities at the first district, as well as the infrastructure of the land plots at the first and the second districts, with a total of 1,490 land plots for buildings and 491 for villas.
Additionally, they follow up on the 35-acre potable water station, with a total capacity for phase I of 25,000 m3/day, and it is 70% complete, besides inspecting the temporary electricity station, with a total capacity of 40 MVA.
Regarding the New Assiut City, the housing officials hold a meeting with the responsible companies operating in the city, to overcome the obstacles faced.
Moreover, the tour includes the first district, the services center, the agricultural works at the first and second districts, as well as the Assiut University, the Sphinx University, wadi degla club, the 2-km tourist walkway, the social housing areas, the national housing buildings, and youth housing.
