Hyde Park Developments has renewed its commitment to Egypt’s healthcare sector with a new donation of nearly EGP 1 mn to Abo El Reesh Children’s Hospital, aimed at securing essential supplies for pediatric dialysis sessions. The contribution will help fund approximately 1,708 dialysis sessions for young patients, alleviating their suffering and strengthening the hospital’s capacity to deliver specialized care, Invest-Gate repotrs.
Amin Serag, Managing Director of Hyde Park Developments, said the initiative reflects the company’s belief that “investing in human health is the cornerstone of sustainable development.” He emphasized that supporting children’s healthcare is not a charity gesture but a core responsibility to safeguard future generations. Serag added that the partnership with Abu El Reesh stands as a model of long-term collaboration between the private sector and national healthcare institutions.
Dr. Sherif El-Anwary, Director of Abo El Reesh Hospital, praised the donation, noting that it directly enhances the quality of care provided to children. “This support embodies a true humanitarian commitment to easing the suffering of patients and their families and sets a successful example of private-sector engagement in community healthcare,” he said.
The company’s support for Abo El Reesh dates back years. Hyde Park Developments has previously contributed to establishing a specialized pediatric ophthalmic endoscopic surgery unit and provided rapid COVID-19 antibody test kits during the pandemic to protect frontline medical staff.
