Hyde Park Developments Supports the Arts, Music, Revival of Egypt’s Heritage

Reaffirming its leading role in supporting culture, music, and the preservation of heritage, Hyde Park Developments is sponsoring two tribute concerts honoring the iconic international artist Dalida, under the title “Bent Shoubra”, Invest-Gate reports.

The concerts will take place on 30 and 31 May 2025 at the Mövenpick Theatre in Media Production City, reflecting the company’s continued commitment to delivering refined cultural and musical experiences that enhance the lifestyle offerings within its communities. The two-night event will celebrate Dalida’s illustrious career, showcasing her most beloved hits spanning over three decades of musical brilliance.

Directed by Mirva Kadi, a Lebanese-French artist known for her standout performances at major venues such as the Beiteddine Festival and Casino du Liban, the concerts will also feature a special appearance by Egyptian singer Heidi Moussa, a classically trained vocalist from a musical family who honed her talent under Maestro Selim Sahab at the Cairo Opera House.

Dalida was selected as the subject of this tribute in recognition of her extraordinary achievements. She was the first female artist to receive 70 gold records, the first to be awarded both Diamond and Platinum Discs, and her legacy continues to resonate with millions through digital platforms, proof of her enduring influence and global appeal. With over 1,000 songs in multiple languages, Dalida earned widespread recognition, including prestigious honors such as the Médailles Présidents République from General Charles de Gaulle, in celebration of her unique voice and unforgettable performances. Her music topped charts from Canada to Japan, and from Egypt to Argentina, solidifying her status as a true global legend.

Targeting a wide age range, the concerts aim to bridge generations through refined artistry, offering a cultural experience that combines authenticity and innovation, while appealing to an audience with a deep appreciation for timeless music.

Organized by RMC Worldwide Partners, a company renowned for producing world-class artistic events, “Bent Shoubra” concerts are considered a landmark production in terms of scale and quality as they bring together an elite creative team, including Mafdy Thabet on sound engineering, Jean William on lighting design, Charles Marquis leading the choir, Sherif El-Einy overseeing musical direction, and Badr Amin managing executive production.

“Bent Shoubra” concerts are part of a broader cultural and musical initiative by Hyde Park Developments, which plans to host a series of events aimed at enriching Egypt’s artistic scene. These efforts reinforce the company’s vision of offering creative, emotionally resonant content that celebrates heritage, inspires audiences, and enhances life within its integrated communities.
