Hyde Park To Donate EGP 5 Mn to Charity Foundations

In line with its societal role, Hyde Park Developments has shown great interest in corporate social responsibility activities by supporting several charitable organizations, with donations exceeding EGP 5 mn during H1 2023, Invest-Gate reports.

Hyde Park’s efforts throughout the year include providing breakfast meals to hundreds of families in impoverished villages, purchasing medical equipment and supplies, and covering the expenses of heart and cancer surgeries to aid in the recovery of patients.

The company also sponsors and supports several hospitals to create a positive and sustainable impact on this crucial sector that requires support due to its tangible effect on society.

Amin Serag, CEO of Hyde Park Developments, stated, “Hyde Park believes that the private sector’s primary priority is to achieve sustainable social development. This is accomplished through collaboration with community organizations to support the government’s efforts in providing a decent life for the less fortunate.”

Serag clarified, “Therefore, we strive to establish partnerships with charitable institutions with extensive experience, particularly in health and providing food for the deserving, to help them fulfill their role and meet the demands of the most vulnerable groups.”

Hyde Park Developments has made donations totaling EGP 5.6 mn between March and July 2023. This includes feeding the less fortunate through a partnership with the Misr El Kheir Foundation, distributing 500 meals daily during the holy month of Ramadan, sacrificing five animals during Eid al-Adha, and distributing them to the families.

Notably, the donations also cover the cost of surgeries for children through a partnership with Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation, covering the expenses of open-heart surgeries for 15 children, and the purchase of medical equipment for Dar El Salam Hospital for Oncology. Additionally, a donation was made to establish a lacrimal surgery unit for cosmetic eye surgeries for children at Abu ElReesh Hospital.
