IGI Developments has signed EGP 1.8 bn in construction contracts to advance its ongoing projects and accelerate future expansions, reaffirming its position as one of Egypt’s leading real estate developers, Invest-Gate reports.
The announcement came during a press conference at the company’s Sheikh Zayed headquarters, attended by Eng. Sheriff Mostafa, CEO and Managing Director, alongside senior executives and journalists.
IGI Developments will deliver nearly 1,000 residential units by the end of 2025 through partnerships with contractors including Grid, Ginza, and Mydo. The company is also finalizing designs for a new 16,000 sqm administrative-commercial complex in Waset Dahshur, 6th of October City, featuring clinics, offices, and retail spaces.
Highlighting its integrated approach, IGI continues to develop projects that combine residential, commercial, administrative, medical, and recreational components. Flagship projects include City Central within Ashgar City, a commercial hub offering retail stores, restaurants, offices, and medical clinics, as well as community amenities such as clubs and mosques. The first phase of Ashgar City Club is set to open in early 2026.
To maintain property value and ensure strong returns, the company established “Tashghil,” a specialized community management firm, and a dedicated sports development subsidiary. It also introduced Egypt’s first BuyBack 30% scheme, enabling clients to resell units back to IGI after two years with a guaranteed 30% return. The initiative will be showcased at Cityscape Egypt 2025, alongside offers including a 5% down payment and installment plans of up to 12 years.
“Over 30 years of achievements, we have built communities that rival global projects in quality and integration,” said Mostafa. “Our recent expansions, construction momentum, and innovative investment offers reflect our vision of delivering sustainable, value-driven solutions while supporting Egypt’s urban development strategy.”
IGI’s portfolio includes Ashgar Heights (Starla and Skyla phases), Ashgar project (final phase Jada), Ashgar City on Oasis Road, and Gardenia Park, Gardenia Park II, and Gardenia Springs. The company also plans to launch new commercial and hospitality projects as part of its long-term expansion strategy.
