IGI Real Estate Inks Deal to Enable Online Payments

IGI Real Estate has partnered with the innovative payment service provider PayTabs to install electronic payment systems on the former developer’s website, hence faster and easier home-buying deals, in a move that marks the first of its kind in the country, Invest-Gate reports.

This comes as part of the Egypt-based company’s keenness to support the government-dictated social distancing measures, in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, while also facilitating online transactions through its user-friendly website as a way to reach out to more customers amid the crisis, according to the press release on October 11.

The partnership aims at strengthening the developer’s digital capability, while also providing clients with a series of new innovative services to streamline the property shopping process, which will, as a ripple effect, complement the recently-released platform, IGI Real Estate Chairman Khaled Sheta noted during the signing ceremony.

The virtual reality (VR)-backed website is “more than just an online sales center,” but rather a virtual showroom that allows customers to enjoy a fully-immersive virtual walkthrough that includes the available projects, unit areas, prices, and type of finishing, paired with exclusive online offers, Sheta added.

In compliance with physical distancing efforts, the website also offers clients to have live chats with sales representatives, as well as online reservation service.

In its statement, IGI Real Estate also touched on the introduction of the latest home automation technologies at its modern residential project in west Cairo, or “Oak Park,” where the company recently launched a new mobile application that enables residents to connect through an application on smartphones to control lighting, electrical appliances, air conditioning, among many other features.

In March, IGI Real Estate said its social media platform was utilized to urge its residents and community to stay home to curb the spread of Coronavirus, according to a previous statement.

It also provided its residents with hotlines for their daily needs and in case of emergencies, ensuring all that the company is by their side and will fulfill all needs. It also dedicated its facility management team to be available around the clock for any concerns and complaints.
