Inertia’s Jefaira Wins APA 2021-2022

Inertia wins the African Property Real Estate Award 2021-2022 ( APA), for its flagship project, Jefaira, as the best mixed-use project in Egypt, Invest-Gate reports.

APA Award is regarded as one of the most prestigious real estate awards in the region, and it recognizes the significant contribution and superior performance of Inertia in implementing one of the company’s leading top-notch projects, Jefaira.

Inertia’s CEO Ahmed El Adawy comments, “Winning this award is a significant addition to the company’s record of achievements, and an affirmation on implementing our urban development strategy, stemming from our belief in supporting the government in its 2030 vision of real estate sustainable urban development plan.”

He further points out, “Jefaira occupies the largest and most significant part of the company’s current efforts, especially in light of the unprecedented urbanization of the North Coast, which comes in parallel with the government plan in establishing new touristic destinations like the New Alamein.”

Moreover, Jefaira owns the largest share of the company’s owned land portfolio and this is one of the reasons that qualified it for the APA awards. Jefaira will be among the fourth generation projects that achieve sustainability in an integrated manner and with a comprehensive concept, by focusing on the establishment of housing units suitable for residence throughout the year.

Jefaira project spans over 5.8 mn sqm with a total investment of EGP 75 bn. The project is set to include between 12,000 and 14,000 housing units and 3000 to 4000 hotel rooms, as well as other non-residential components such as education and healthcare facilities, conference halls, sports clubs and multiple facilities. Additionally, Inertia has launched four phases of the project.

It’s noteworthy that an independent panel of over 80 industry experts is judging this year’s edition of the APA where design, quality, service, creativity, originality, and dedication to sustainability are the factors considered in the judging process. Lord Caithness, Lord Best, and Lord Waverley, are the members of the UK Parliament’s House of Lords, preside over the judging panel.
