Informa Markets Egypt unveils highlights of the 11th Cityscape Egypt Conference, Invest-Gate reports.

The two-day event was held in September 2022 and attended by businessmen, heads of real estate development companies, government officials, media representatives, and industry experts.

The event includes a wide range of workshops, panel discussions, presentations, and research, allowing for interactions between officials and experts in the real estate sector.

“It is thanks to various large-scale development projects undertaken by the Egyptian government, particularly the New Administrative Capital, and New Alamein on the North Coast, that the real estate sector is seeing one of the brightest moments in its recent history. These projects have also served to attract many new foreign investors,” Fathallah Fawzy, Chairman of the Cityscape Egypt Conference, comments.

The conference’s attendees commend Egypt’s hosting of COP27, noting that it would help attract capital and promote green and sustainable projects in Egypt.

They conclude that more cooperation between the public and private sectors is required to ensure the establishment of accurate KPIs that contribute to improving confidence in the Egyptian real estate market.

Real estate experts stress the importance of raising awareness of insulation in residential buildings, as well as devising a universal plan to develop the historical buildings in Cairo and other governorates.

Furthermore, experts in the industry highlight the urgency of ending all obstacles facing licensing ongoing projects in the New Administrative Capital.
