Following its successful real estate industry charitable Sohour “Bab El Ezz,” Invest-Gate fulfilled its promises and brought its initiative to support leprosy patients into effect, providing definite diagnosis and carrying out medical operations for 11 lepers.
Patients suffering from different types of chronic superficial skin leprosy ulcers or sores were admitted to Harpur Memorial Hospital in Sadat City, Monufia Governorate, and underwent a number of medical surgeries. Among them were Nagwa Hassan Abdel Aleem, Salwa Ali Bayoumi, William Abdallah Solaiman Ghaly, Zakaria Farid Mahmoud, Bakry Ahmed Mahmoud, Seham Sami Abdelhameed Mabrouk, Eman Ragab Faheem, Gomaa Ramadan Ahmed Rasekh, and Ali Ibrahim Mohammed Hussein.
More specifically, lepers with these symptoms were admitted to amputation and eradication surgeries for affected peripheries such as limbs and joints or skin grafting operations, in an attempt to ease their pain and make a real change in their lives.
This is just the beginning; Invest-Gate vows to raise this initiative and take it to a higher level in the upcoming period, endeavoring to get treat more patients and get more real estate industry charitable contributions enacted.
Back on May 15, Invest-Gate held its “Bab El Ezz” Sohour at the Nile-Ritz Carlton, Cairo, as part of its efforts to give back to the community by improving lepers’ quality of life. Under the slogan, “Time to Give Back,” the first-of-its-kind event was aimed at collecting large amounts of charity donations from the country’s top real estate developers. All proceeds were directed to supporting leprosy patients.
