Jabal Omar Development Company (JODC), one of the largest developers listed on the Saudi stock exchange, announced a profit of SAR 691.07 mn for 3Q 2016, according to a statement by the company last Wednesday.

The company’s quarterly earnings marked its highest profit growth in its history, and increase of SAR 9.49 mn from the previous quarter, an increase of 7,182%.

JODC is the main developer of several high-profile projects in the Jabal Omar district near the Holy Mosque in Makkah, including the Marriott Makkah, Hilton and Hyatt Regency. The developer also runs several hotels, and plans to add more hotels to its portfolio.
