Jubail Island, which endeavors to become Abu Dhabi’s most desirable residential sanctuary, was officially launched on April 8, Invest-Gate reports.
Developed by Jubail Island Investment Company (JIIC) across 400 acres at an estimated cost of AED 5 bn, the low-density community, designated as an Abu Dhabi investment zone, will encompass an array of serviced plots as well as high-end and mid-range properties, according to a released statement.
Comprising 400 single-family and 400 multi-family homes, this mega project will feature six investment zone villages, namely Marafaa Al Jubail, Nad Al Dhabi, Seef Al Jubail, Ain Al Maha, Souk Al Jubail, and Bed’a Al Jubail.
“Jubail Island offers plots ranging in size from 1,500 to 5,000 square meters as well as villas ranging in size from 300 to 1,200 square meters. The development is a short 15-minute drive from downtown Abu Dhabi and only a 50-minute drive from Dubai Marina,” read the statement.
Once completed, Jubail Island will be home to 5,000-6,000 residents. The project is slated for completion by the fourth quarter of 2022, while the plots can be arranged for handover as early as Q1 of 2021.
Mounir Haidar, managing director of JIIC, said, “Jubail Island will cater to families, wellness, wildlife, and nature enthusiasts, including water sports activities as well as offering a unique quality of life for homeowners and visitors alike.”
“With its wide variety of residential, retail, hospitality, entertainment, and education offerings, the project is poised to become an important contributor to the Abu Dhabi real estate market in line with the objectives of the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030,” Haidar elaborated.
The landmark project will boast an “intimately cosmopolitan hub,” featuring apartments, an office park, office villas, and a hotel. Additionally, it will comprise a number of facilities such as food and beverages (F&B) outlets, a beach club, a business center, a sports center, schools, supermarkets, nurseries, a community club, specialized clinics, and other commercial offerings.
