Dubai-based luxury hotel brand Jumeirah Group has announced plans to integrate its diverse meetings, incentives, conferences, and events (MICE) offerings into its new hotel portfolio in Abu Dhabi, Invest-Gate reports.

The company has revealed in a statement that the services will be provided across its newly opened Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort, Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort and Spa, along with the dynamic downtown location of the renowned Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.

This move comes in line with Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision 2030 and looks to capitalize on the 7% annual growth forecasted for MICE in the UAE’s capital, according to the statement.

“Abu Dhabi is now seen as a leading MICE destination in the region, and with its burgeoning reputation as a cultural hub and success in hosting many major global sporting events, we expect to see this growth continue,” Jumeirah Group CEO Jose Silva said.

“At Jumeirah Group, we recognize the importance of this segment and have developed a MICE offer across our newly established portfolio to meet the needs of local and international businesses and organizations,” Silva added.

Jumeirah at Etihad Towers comprises one of Abu Dhabi’s largest conference centers, with a ballroom eligible to host up to 1,400 guests, 13 meeting rooms, alongside some bridal and chairman suites,

Similarly, Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort, located 20 minutes away from Abu Dhabi International Airport, has the capacity to host weddings, banquets, exhibitions, product launches, and parties, while the intimate Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort and Spa is ideal for intimate events and weddings with the 100-seat ballroom.

This variety will offer beautiful beach and serene desert options that perfectly complement the state-of-the-art facilities in the heart of the vibrant city at Etihad Towers, the company stated.
