Kafr El Dawar’s social housing project, located in Beheira Governorate, has been officially inaugurated, with investments worth EGP 130 mn, Invest-Gate reports.

Covering 8 acres, the Nile Delta project features 716 filly-finished residential units within 30 buildings, according to an official statement on October 21.

The newest addition also encompasses 15 commercial properties, valued at EGP 90 mn. In addition, water, sewage, and road networks have been implemented at a total cost of EGP 40 mn.

The opening came in the presence of Behira Governor Hisham Amna, CEO of Mortgage Finance Fund (MFF) Mai Abdel Hamid, Deputy Governor of Behira Governorate Nehal Balbaa, among other officials and dignitaries, the statement noted.

In early September, West Cairo’s New October City and October Gardens will shortly have a total of 147,680 social housing units completed, as part of the state’s social housing project, which aims to provide adequate and affordable homes, Invest-Gate reports.
