Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, announces that start of the trial operation of the axis of Lieutenant-General Kamal Amer, in Giza Governorate, Invest-Gate reports.

With a length of 12 km axis connects the ring road in the Munib area with the ring road in the north in the Imbaba area.

El-Gazzar notes that the axis contributes to solving many traffic problems in Giza Square, the 26th of July axis, and the Saft El Laban axis.

Mahmoud Nassar, head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction, indicates that the project includes the construction of a free corridor in two directions with a width of up to 4 traffic lanes in each direction.

The project also comprises the development of surface roads to serve the traffic movement of the people with a width of up to 4 traffic lanes in each direction, Nassar says.
