Karma Urban Development unveiled its first project, KAVI, a mixed-use development located in a prime area of New Cairo. The project integrates commercial, administrative, and medical spaces, and is designed to be a vibrant hub that supports business growth. To further cement its position in the Egyptian market, Karma also signed three cooperation protocols with leading engineering consultancy firms specializing in large-scale commercial center management and execution, Invest-Gate reports.
Mohamed Aly, Chairman and CEO of Karma Urban Development, emphasized that the launch of KAVI marks a new beginning for the company, built on a clear philosophy. He highlighted that, despite being a newly established entity in Egypt, the founders bring over 39 years of combined experience in investment, real estate development, and construction across Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Aly stated, “KAVI is not just a project; it’s the true embodiment of Karma’s urban philosophy focused on wisdom, clarity, and long-term value.”
The KAVI project is set to deliver real value to both the market and clients, showcasing Karma’s commitment to innovation, smart planning, and quality. The project’s design and development, according to Aly, are based on sound decisions, emphasizing operational efficiency, sustainability, and creating integrated communities.
Hassan El-Rifai, Saudi co-founder of Karma and one of Saudi Arabia’s leading construction experts, expressed pride in the company’s entry into the Egyptian market. He explained that Egypt’s real estate sector is one of the most stable and fastest-growing in the region, which encouraged their investment. El-Rifai added, “The decision to partner with Egyptian firms was a natural choice based on shared goals and a combined vision for real estate development.”
Mohamed Hafez, the architectural consultant for KAVI, explained that the project incorporates a detailed urban vision that aligns with Karma’s philosophy of creating smart, sustainable spaces. The architectural design includes a V-shaped structure to optimize visibility and efficiency while meeting the highest sustainability standards.
Khaled El-Sharkawy, the management and operations consultant, highlighted KAVI’s reliance on smart systems to ensure daily efficiency. He introduced the “Vital Path,” a dynamic, user-centered pathway that transforms natural movement into commercial value.
The project is strategically located in New Cairo’s Narges area, surrounded by key educational and medical institutions such as the German University in Cairo (GUC) and the American University in Cairo (AUC), making it an ideal destination for business, leisure, and daily activity. KAVI offers a unique mix of commercial, administrative, and medical units designed to provide long-term value to investors and brands.
Walid Shokr, electromechanical consultant for KAVI, emphasized the project’s focus on sustainability, featuring a centralized AI-driven management platform. This system monitors real-time environmental factors such as air quality and energy consumption, optimizing energy use and reducing operating costs while ensuring comfort and health for the users.
Amr Heikal, Head of the Commercial Sector at Karma Urban Development, announced special offers for early investors, including flexible payment plans of up to eight years and a 10% discount for units purchased during the launch phase. Heikal noted that pricing has been strategically designed to offer clients the best value, considering KAVI’s prime location and smart design.
This project is just the beginning of Karma Urban Development’s ambitious plans for the Egyptian market, with several more innovative projects in the pipeline. KAVI exemplifies the company’s commitment to creating high-quality, sustainable, and innovative developments that set new benchmarks for urban living in Egypt.
