Top Kuwaiti Islamic lender, Kuwait Finance House announced the construction of over 3,000 homes in Deerat Aloyoun project, of its financing in Bahrain, Arabian Business reported.
The company has been keen on supporting projects such as Deerat Aloyoun, part of Diyar Al Muharraq, Chairman of KFH and KFH-Bahrain, Hamad Abdulmohsen Al Marzouq said.
“Such projects will be constructed to the highest specifications to include wide range of integrated services, infrastructure, a transport network, mosques, electricity and water, commercial and entertaining facilities, in addition to educational institutions,” Al Marzouq said in a statement, Construction Week Online reported.
The project will include 3,100 residential units over an area of 1.2 million square metres and is worth more than BHD 275.25 million ($ 730 million), Al Marzouq added during the ceremony for Deerat Aloyoun project.
Deerat Aloyoun will carry out all construction work for the project, indicating that KFH-Bahrain is a key shareholder in the Diyar Al Muharraq project along with other local banks, Al Marzouq noted.
