Kuwait has issued a travel ban on 20 real estate executives who are being accused of fraud, according to Arabian Business.
The executives face charges of defrauding 3,000 citizens and residents into investing in real estate outside of Kuwait.
Among the suspects are several Arab nationals, and a Kuwaiti woman, whom authorities believe to be the owners of the company. They are believed to have convinced victims to pay around $100 million, stated the newspaper, quoting Al-Jarida.
According to the authorities, the defendants are facing further investigations.
