Total real estate contracts and agencies registered at the Kuwait Ministry of Justice totaled around KWD 271.73 mn in June, Invest-Gate reports.

According to statistics by the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Kuwaiti justice ministry, the real estate transactions in Kuwait recorded around 338 in six governorates during June.

The total transactions included 242 private properties with a total value of KWD 120.91 mn, 83 investment properties with a value of KWD 54.99 mn, and eight commercial properties with a value of KWD 33.73 mn.

The Ahmadi Governorate came on top in terms of the number of transactions, which totaled 127, followed by the Hawalli Governorate with 82 transactions.

Moreover, there were just two real estate agencies with a total value of KWD 788,750.
