Saudi Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail inaugurated the activities of the Cityscape Global exhibition on Sunday, September 10, under the slogan “Building the Home of the Future,” Invest-Gate reports.

The event took place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, in the presence of several officials and leaders from the real estate and banking sectors.

During his speech at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Al-Hogail announced the launch of several projects worth over SAR 65 bn. He highlighted that the Kingdom has witnessed rapid urban growth, which plays a significant role in achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Moreover, Al-Hogail stated that the coming years will witness an expansion in the construction of residential suburbs throughout the Kingdom, in collaboration with global real estate developers.

He further explained that the Cityscape exhibition will witness the launch of quality projects and the signing of numerous agreements to activate promising partnerships. Given the scale of current and future projects, the emphasis will be on quality, reducing the time required for unit delivery, and relying on modern construction methods.

Over the four days, the exhibition will showcase ideas and real estate experiences in architecture, designs, and urban planning. It will also highlight the best global practices in future development and construction techniques.

It is worth mentioning that the Cityscape Global exhibition includes the NEOM Summit for Building the Home of the Future, the Real Estate Governors’ Forum, the Design and Architecture Theater, the Real Estate Investors Forum, the Real Estate Technologies Theater, the Innovation Challenge, and the Cityscape Global Roshan Hackathon.
