Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announces that the project for linking the axis of New Sphinx City to the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road is underway, Invest-Gate reports.

The minister stresses the significance of the Sphinx Axis for linking the Cairo Alexandria Desert Road, the El-Dabaa Road, and Middle Ring Road.

Head of the New Sphinx City Development Authority, Ahmed Ibrahim, reveals that a project is implemented to supply electricity for lighting of the first phase of Sphinx Axis with a total cost of EGP 59.5 mn.

Ibrahim adds that works are underway to install utilities in New Sphinx Train Station as a part of the first line of the High-Speed Electric Train Ain Sokhna-Matrouh.
