Argentine football star Lionel Messi announced the launch of a real estate investment fund in the Spanish market, priced at EUR 57.4 per share, giving the fund a market value of EUR 223 mn ($232.12 mn), Invest-Gate reports.
Messi, currently playing for Inter Miami and formerly a Barcelona forward, chairs the board of Edificio Rostower Socimi. The company owns seven hotels in Spain and Andorra, three office spaces, five apartments, and properties in London and Paris.
Founded in 2013, Messi’s company reported a EUR 1.7 mn loss in 2023, with most of its investments focused in Catalonia, Spain.
