As the Egyptian-Chinese agreement to build the governmental district at the Administrative Capital failed, Egyptian contracting companies set foot into the New Capital to implement the project, Invest-Gate reports.

“Both parties could not reach a final agreement on the price of implementation per square meter. China Shenhua Energy Company (CSEC) proposed a higher price than those of Egyptian companies,” clarifies Ayman Ismail, the chairman of Administrative Capital Company for Urban Development.
