Informa Markets, the organizers of Cityscape Egypt, postpones this year’s edition of the exhibition until further notice following the cabinet’s announcement of suspending all major public gatherings, in fear of spreading COVID-19, Invest-Gate reports.

Scheduled to take place mid-March, Cityscape Egypt shared a statement this morning clarifying, “ We are carefully monitoring the situation as well as working with all stakeholders and government bodies,” in earnest hope to run the exhibition as soon as possible.

Cityscape Egypt, as per the official statement, is to be the first major event running this year. “We are in discussions with the venue, EIEC, to ensure Cityscape Egypt is the first major event to run in 2020 once things return to normal post-COVID19,” declares Cityscape Egypt.

Cityscape Egypt’s eight edition was a resounding success with over 60 companies participating and showcasing their flagship properties, including industry leaders and first-time participants throughout the four-day exhibition.
