Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly issued a ministerial decree appointing Eman Kamal as President of the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA), according to a statement. Kamal had previously served as General Manager of the Information and Statistics center.

The decree also appointed former VP of the Development Authority of New Assiut City Salah Metwally as Development Authority Supervisor of 6th of October City. Additionally, Madbouly issued a decree approving the overall strategic plan for Juhayna City in Sohag.
