Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly is leading a campaign against unlicensed buildings in New Obour City and applying removal decrees as necessary, Invest-Gate reports.

“We are carrying out what we have already promised, removing any brick placed after the issuance of the presidential decree ordering the establishment of New Obour City,” Madbouly said in a statement. “However, we will reconcile the legal status of buildings established before the issuance of the presidential decree,” he added.
