The Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Mostafa Madbouly has held a meeting to follow up on work progress in Al Asmarat 3, and Al Mahrousa 1 and 2 housing projects, Invest-Gate reports.
A total of 7,440 residential units are being established in Al Asmarat 3, in addition to a number of facilities including 176 mixed-use shops and five playgrounds, according to a statement.
Madbouly urged to expedite the implementation of service buildings for residents of Al Asmarat 1 and 2, and 3 when inhabited.
Being established by Long Live Egypt Fund and Informal Settlements Development Fund (ISDF), the 33-feddan Al Mahrousa 1 will include 66 buildings, while Al Mahrousa 2 will comprise 65 buildings, according to Cairo Governor Atef Abdel-Hamid.
