Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly is following on current projects constructed in the new cities and on updates in Sheikh Zayed, according to a released statement, Invest-Gate reports.

Madbouly opens new roads in Sheikh Zayed including a- 5- long- bicycle track built as part of the ministry’s saving energy plan, with more tracks to follow.

This comes following Madbouly delegating the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) to begin implementing special social housing units in New Cairo, 6th of October City, Obour City, Badr City, New Minya, and New Damietta. Meanwhile, NUCA confirms that around 35,000 units are soon to be offered in different cities.

In his statement, Madbouly emphasizes the importance of having public service buildings along with units. He also confirms that the Housing Ministry will be offering the first phase of Dar Misr project to citizens and the new phase of Bait Al Watan project to Egyptians abroad. Egyptians abroad are required to pay in foreign currency electronically.
