Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly visits the New Obour City to inspect various housing and service projects in the city, Invest-Gate reports.
He emphasized the state’s interest in expanding the construction of new cities in different governorates, equipped with all facilities and services to accommodate population growth and open investment and work opportunities.
The aim of establishing new cities is to provide suitable housing for citizens and offer diverse residential units that meet their needs.
During the tour, the Prime Minister inspects the buildings of the Presidential Initiative (Housing For All Egyptians) in areas 15 and 16.
The project comprises 1,144 buildings with 27,744 housing units on two models; 90 sqm and 75 sqm.
He reviews the completion rates of the housing units being built in this framework.
Madbouly also visits the service projects’ implementation position in New Obour. He tours the nursery building and medical center in the Yakout area and reviews the rest of the service buildings, which include ambulance units, commercial markets, schools, youth centers, bakeries, post offices, open playgrounds, and places of worship, providing all the city residents’ requirements.
Madbouly visits the housing buildings that offer alternative housing for slum dwellers in New Obour and inspects one of the housing unit models in the project.
The project comprises 96 buildings with 3,456 housing units, and the Minister of Housing explained the delivery plan for these units.
The Prime Minister follows up on the Housing For All Egyptians Project in areas 13 and 14 in the city and inspects one of the housing unit models.
The project comprises 806 buildings with 19,344 housing units, with a model of an area of 90 square meters per unit, and 53 buildings, with a total of 1,908 units, with an area of 75 square meters.
Madbouly receives a briefing from Housing Minister Assem El-Gazzar on the executive position of several other housing projects in New Obour.
The city is witnessing the implementation of the social housing buildings project in the 2,600-fedan area, which includes 1,198 buildings with 28,752 housing units, El-Gazzar reveals.
Modern-style buildings are being implemented in the 2,600-acre area, with 78 buildings and a total of 1,872 housing units, he adds.
