Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly Cabinet issued a decision that maps out priority areas in Upper Egypt that are in need of attention by the Upper Egypt Development Authority, Invest-Gate reports.
The list of priority areas was topped by the region between Nubia and Lake Nasser axis, and Halayeb and Shalateen, in addition to the area between Quseer and Safaga axis and Kharga and Dakhla oases, according to a statement on March 4.
The second-priority areas include Luxor, northern Aswan, Fayoum, Beni Suef, El Wadi El Gedid, amongst others. In addition, the third priority areas are touristic areas along the Red Sea, Toshka city, and Eastern Owaynat all the way to south New Valley governorate.
