Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly held a meeting to follow up on the progress of the presidential initiative, Hayah Karima,  and the preparations for the second phase, Invest-Gate reports.

At the beginning of the meeting, Madbouly emphasized the government’s commitment to the presidential initiative across all its departments. He highlighted the initiative’s goal of bringing about a qualitative shift for millions of families and individuals residing in targeted villages and rural areas.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister was briefed on the implementation status of the first phase projects of the initiative, which encompass 1,477 villages in 20 governorates nationwide.

The meeting discussed the measures taken by the consulting office to ensure the progress of work and the successful execution of these projects. It also covered the status of project handovers, completed infrastructure works, and the expected completion timeline for the remaining villages.

Notably, the second phase aims to continue development efforts for additional villages and targeted centers to improve residents’ quality of life. The projects in this phase will include comprehensive rural development by providing various essential services in different sectors.
