Prime Minister and Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Development Mostafa Madbouly has urged to start the implementation of the development plan for Maspero Triangle area, Invest-Gate reports.
During the meeting with Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal and other government officials, Madbouly noted that this comes as an assignment by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi especially after settling all issues with the residents and the removal process.
Madbouly highlighted that the development of Maspero Triangle is on the priority agenda for urban development in Cairo.
Settlements are ongoing with small landowners who need cash compensation, and will be through the buy and sell agreement to be signed among the three parties of landowner (buyer), the New Urban Communities Authority (seller), and Cairo governorate, according to Deputy Housing Minister Assem El-Gazzar.
