Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting follows-up on the sanitation project KIMA 1 and 2 in Awan, Invest-Gate reports.

According to the ministry’s statement, president of the Holding Company of Potable Water and Sanitary Drainage is to track the violations of those who make negative sewage connections directly on the stream bank, and to send an official letter to the Governor of Aswan to close these violated banks immediately.

Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker Al-Marqaby is to quickly provide an electrical reserve source to stations 1 and 2, in addition to the already existing source.

During a meeting, Madbouly stressed on the need to adhere to the announcements made in the presence of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi at the National Youth Conference on January 27 and 28. Specifying the responsibilities of each collaborating party, the National Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation, the Holding Company for Potable Water and Sanitation, and the Arab Contractors company, Madbouly pointed out the importance of setting an official in charge from each to follow up with him on daily basis.

The minister also called on the necessity of having a team working full-time on finishing the project in a timely manner, as well as the importance of organizing a weekly visit to the site to follow the executive situation.
