Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly is withdrawing the construction tender of a central park in Sheikh Zayed from a contracting company, Invest-Gate reports.
The tenders were withdrawn as construction works were not concluded on time despite providing the company with the necessary budget according to a set schedule. The company was also banned by ministerial orders from constructing any project in new cities, according to a released statement.
The central park is expected to span over an area of 65 feddans as part of an office/entertainment project. The park will include several amenities such as cafeterias , coffee shops, restaurants, artificial lakes, office buildings, cycle paths and commercial areas.
