Madinet Masr Launches World’s First Shark Tank-Themed Business Park in Taj City

Madinet Masr, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment and Innovative Media Productions (IMP), has announced the official launch of Shark Tank Business Park—the world’s first business park themed after the global hit show Shark Tank, Invest-Gate reports.

Located in Taj City and spanning 20 acres, the project is backed by an investment of nearly USD 1 bn. It redefines the business environment by integrating next-generation office spaces, cultural venues, co-working hubs, rooftop terraces, gaming pods, and green brainstorming zones—all designed to spark creativity and collaboration.

The event included the unveiling of the world’s first Shark Tank commercial art sculpture, designed by NotToys, the Middle East’s first art toys company. The sculpture embodies the bold entrepreneurial spirit that lies at the heart of the project.

Since its debut as Money Tigers in Japan in 2001, the Shark Tank format has become the world’s most adapted business reality show, giving entrepreneurs a platform to pitch ideas to top investors. Now, its spirit lives on in a physical space built to support the next generation of innovators.

Eng. Abdallah Sallam, President & CEO of Madinet Masr, stated: “This project is more than office space; it’s a fully integrated ecosystem that promotes innovation, wellbeing, and growth.” Robert Herjavec, Shark Tank US star & CEO of Cyderes, added: “You can’t keep a great idea down. This will be replicated worldwide.”

The launch event welcomed over 900 high-profile attendees, including government officials, GCC investors, and industry leaders. The first phase of the project is expected to be delivered by 2029.
