Madinet Masr, one of Egypt’s leading real estate developers, announced the launch of its latest project, Origami, in Taj City, New Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.

Origami is developed by Minka, a signature community by Madinet Masr, known for its exclusive boutique developments and innovative real estate offerings.

As a subsidiary of Madinet Masr, Minka is also the developer of The HOFT, Egypt’s first hybrid investment property, and Kinda, a renowned Canadian-inspired community and lifestyle brand in Taj City.

Moreover, Origami draws inspiration from Japan’s traditional culture and represents Minka’s first project since becoming part of Madinet Masr. This unique signature community revolves around simplicity, space efficiency, and style.

Spanning an area of 434,284 sqm, Origami consists of two phases. The first phase comprises over 500 uniquely designed villas that cater to various customer needs and preferences. These include standalone villas ranging from 160 to 240 sqm, townhouses ranging from 156 to 159 sqm, and Quattro villas divided into four sections, each covering 143 sqm. The first phase is expected to be completed within four years.

After its acquisition, Abdallah Sallam, President and CEO of Madinet Masr, expressed his pride in announcing Minka’s first contribution, Origami. He highlighted that Origami combines artistic and contemporary architectural concepts.
