MAG Robotic Investments has signed an agreement with UAE-based Emaar Properties, an international property developer, to develop a fully-automated parking facility on a build-operate-transfer (BOT) basis at Dubai Marina, Reuters-affiliated website Zawya reports.

The parking facility will be located on the ground and first floors of a commercial building with retail outlets and restaurants offering splendid views of Dubai Marina and Dubai skyline.

The facility will minimize foot traffic and driving inside around various parking decks, making the facility environmentally friendly. Valet parking will still be provided to assist visitors.

Accommodating about 700 cars, the facility will ease parking pressure around the area.

MAG Robotic Investments has selected MAG Royal Solutions, a subsidiary of the MAG Group of Companies and one of the pioneers of smart automated parking in the UAE, to manage the project. The project will represent MAG Royal Solutions’ third largest facility.
