MARAKEZ, the leading Egyptian mixed-use real estate developer, signs a partnership with the Egyptian Food Bank (EFB) in El Salam to sponsor an iftar maeda this year for the whole month of Ramadan, Invest-Gate reports.
The initiative aims to support MARAKEZ’s mission in bringing people together; it also gives an opportunity for underprivileged people to break their fast with a fresh meal. Marakez invites other property developers to carry out the good deeds.
Spreading the message of kindness and compassion to the wider community, MARAKEZ has shown itself to be dedicated and caring to the community it operates in.
In this regard, Basil Ramzy, CEO of MARAKEZ, says: “We are pleased to extend our impact beyond our developments and make a positive contribution to the different communities we serve through our partnership with the Egyptian Food Bank, an experienced NGO whose work has been respected and appreciated throughout the years, we carry our mission of bringing people together in various ways.”
For his part, CEO of the EFB, Mohsen Sarhan notes that the EFB has served more than 12 mn beneficiaries in Egypt.
It is worth noting that MARAKEZ has also voluntarily organized the distribution of supplemental food boxes to the under-deserved families in areas where its projects are located, October, Tanta, and El Salam.
