MARAKEZ, one of Egypt’s leading mixed-use developers, is awarded 2022’s Global RLI Awards, Invest-Gate reports.

District 5 by MARAKEZ has been selected by the Global Retail and Leisure (RLI) distinguished juries as the winner of the “Most Anticipated Opening” for its commercial project. The project is also nominated under the awards’ “2022 Developer of the Year” category.

The global award recognizes achievements and ground-breaking projects around the world, celebrating the most visionary and innovative retail and leisure concepts from across the globe.

In addition, MARAKEZ has received the “Most Anticipated Opening” award for its District 5 in recognition of its architectural excellence and its unique and innovative concept that brings creativity and modernism to the local community that is eagerly awaiting the opening of the cutting-edge facility.

District 5, is the first of its kind walkable destination encompassing an office park, retail, F&B and entertainment that will set the benchmark for mixed-use development in Egypt. The opening of its leisure area is widely anticipated due to MARAKEZ’s reputation for pioneering partnerships and social experiences provided for its visitors.

Across projects, a network of varied collaborations enriches the immersive experience MARAKEZ offers with community events including motorcycle rodeo shows, edutainment facilities, and sports races, among others.
